Areas of Specialization
Interdisciplinary Sciences majors choose from three areas of specialization that will prepare them for a career or for graduate and professional programs.
Atmospheric Sciences - the atmospheric sciences specialization is designed for students whose career goal is meteorology or atmospheric research.
Pre-Professional Health Sciences - the pre-professional health sciences specialization prepares students for entry into a variety of graduate and professional programs, including medical and dental schools, physical and occupational therapy programs, physicians assistant and chiropractic programs, optometry and ophthalmology specialties, and radiography or medical technology programs. | Science, Technology, and Society - the science, technology, and society specialization combines a strong science background with a firm grounding in environmental, social and science policy issues. |
